能は、継承されている演劇としては「世界最古」といわれる日本独自の舞台芸術で、世界無形遺産に指定されている。
その「能」をテーマにした大藤啓子の作品は、人間国宝の能楽師に描写の許可を得たうえで精密に描きあげられた、
どれも大作ばかりである。背景にはその物語がこだわりの技法で描かれている。

Noh is a unique form of Japanese theartcal art. It is the oldest inherited drama in the world and is designated as World Intangible Cultural Heritage. The large scale paintings of Keiko OFUJI took its theme from Noh and with the permission from a Noh perfomer who is designated as Human National Treasure, Ofuji completes her works with delicate and detailed drowing. The story of Noh is deliberately shown in the canvas in an artistic way.
